Originally sold out and planned for the beginning of February we had to switch the dates of our annual PADDLE PROWL Kayaking & Island Camping Trip to the end of February due to inclement weather. 15 people originally signed up, but only 4 were able to switch to the new dates (including me).
We had a blast! It was perfect weather!! It was a tough challenge! And we had a fun crew that completed the quest!
Over 2 days we circumnavigated 10 miles around Caladesi Island (which is one of the top rated beaches in the nation). Part of the adventure included overnight camping on a small nearby spoil island. It was a great trip and the 4 of us bonded very quickly.
I would wish this trip upon everyone!! It's not only a beautiful destination, but a very satisfying physical challenge.
Thank you Kirsten, Jenifer, & David for coming on your first GTD trip and helping make this an instant classic!! We are looking forward to many more adventures with you guys!
And special thanks to Dennis McCormick for helping me pack the day before this event and Jason Motte for helping me distribute gear and help our participants get geared up on the morning of Day 1! Your help blessed me & the crew so much!!
