- TRIP SUMMARY -
Here's the gist!
 
 
  
FRENZY is what we call our Shark Fishing Night Trip that’s open to the public. Florida is saturated with incredible shark fishing destinations and GTD wants to take you there! In partnership with Run For The Reels (RFTR), GTD will put you on the sand as RFTR guides you into God’s aquatic playground. GTD's trips are Christ-centered events that include snacks, a devotion from the Bible, all shark fishing equipment, full-time guides, and a whole lot of God-awesome fun!! We can accommodate 12 participants per trip. We invite you to join us on one of our annual FRENZY adventures as we cast out and battle giant sharks along one of Florida’s refreshing coastlines in God’s amazing creation. Spots do go fast so sign up today!

    • RESTROOMS: Restrooms are located on 16th ave next to baseball fields

     SNACKS:  
    • GTD will be supplying a variety of quality snacks and bottled waters. We also encourage you to bring your own water bottle(s) and favorite snack(s) if you have certain dietary restrictions.
      WHAT IS INCLUDED:  
    • Full time guides, event planning, rods, reels, bait, lights, all equipment needed, drinks, snacks, Christ-centered devotional, a God-awesome lifelong memory!
      WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:  
    • Transportation to/from the event, additional snacks, dry containers, water bottles, items listed on checklist (see below).
      REQUIRED PERMITS, FISHING LICENSE, & WAIVERS:  
    • PLEASE NOTE: Catching sharks from a Florida beach requires a valid Saltwater Fishing License and a free Shore-based Shark Fishing permit.
    • Here is the link to the FREE Shore-based Shark Fishing course & permit that is required by the FWC for anyone 16 & older. If you do not obtain the permit there is a $57 fine if we get checked. The permit is only required for people who are actively fishing during the trip. It’s a very simple quiz that probably takes about 15-25 min.     • Saltwater Fishing Licenses can be obtained at many Wal-Mart's, tackle stores, & the DMV... use this link to find Fishing License Agents in your area: https://license.gooutdoorsflorida.com/Licensing/LocateAgent.aspx ...       WEATHER:  
    • BE PREPARED FOR THE WEATHER! Check the weather forecast before arrival and prepare accordingly. Use sunscreen. Wear shade hats. Stay hydrated. Wear appropriate clothing for the forecasted weather.
