   - Avg temps are in the low to mid 40's at night! Early season snow is possible. Mid 80's during the day.
   - Check the forecast for Williams & the Grand Canyon a few days before the trip. Pack accordingly.
   - Bring proper amounts of clothes for 6 days & 5 nights.

 HIKING GEAR FOR PLATEAU POINT (BRIGHT ANGEL TRAIL) & RIM-TO-RIM TRAIL:

This is mandatory gear that you must bring if you are hiking.
NOTE: Any item below with *** next to it means GTD has extra gear that you can borrow for free while supplies last. You need to contact us to reserve that gear and to arrange a time to pick it up so that you can pack it in your checked luggage.


RECOMMENDED HIKING CLOTHING:

[  ]  Extra Clothing (In case we get stuck in the canyon overnight... a very unlikely chance of occurring)

[  ]  Sun Screen / Lip Balm
[  ]  Pocket Knife (make sure you put this in your checked luggage)
[  ]  Insect Repellent (travel size)

[  ]  2 Zip-Lock Bags (gallon size; very handy)
