WE ARE BACK IN TN FOR OUR LAST 2 TRIPS OF THE SUMMER!

  
We are back in the beautiful state of Tennessee preparing for our last 2 Adventure Trips of the summer. Our next group is with the college students from Southeastern University's satellite campus at Countryside Christian Center... it's their 4th annual September event that they utilize to help their students bond and get the school year off to an adventurous start! As they depart at the end of their event our next group arrives. That group is the men's group from Calvary Baptist Church of Clearwater. We've been doing trips with Calvary since 1999! God has blessed us with a wonderful history of God-awesome adventures with this phenomenal church. Aaaaaaaaand, look who is here to help serve on this trip >>> it's Laurie!! This is her first Adventure Trip in 6 years! She has missed it so much, and we have missed her! And special thanks to Stacy, Andrew, Gaby, & Sheilah for volunteering to serve! Thank you for your prayers as we embark on a lot of wild unforgettable activities over the next 11 days 🙂🙂🙂

THANK FOR YOUR HARD WORK JAN! .... YOU HAVE BEEN JAN-TASTIC!!

  
I want to express my deep gratitude to Jan for her hard work and dedicated service to GTD over the past 2+ years (during the hardest 2+ years of my life). Jan has been an answer to prayer, and a true Godsend!! Jan let me know at the beginning of the summer that this will be her last summer with GTD so she can put more time into caregiving and spending quality time with her mother. We will surely miss her laugh, her great attitude, her heart for God, and all her administrative expertise. But we wish her the best as she follows where God leads. Thank you so much Jan... you were & are absolutely JANtastic!! God bless you dear friend =)

WALK LIKE (OR BETTER YET, COOK LIKE) AN EGYPTIAN!!

  
On one of our recent Adventure Trips we were blessed to have 3 fantastic friends who were all originally from Egypt. They were so much fun! And they were so genuine and thoughtful. They wanted to go to the grocery store and buy all the food for one of the dinners and cook an authentic version of Egyptian chicken and rice for the entire group. IT! WAS! SO! DELICIOUS!! We love these guys! One of the greatest blessings of this ministry is all the incredible people we get to meet. Thank you to our Egyptian brothers in Christ for adding so much fun & delicious food to our 5 day adventure!! You made us all feel like pharaohs hahaha!
