Over the course of 24 years we have only had a few events that have earned the title of "perfect". It's such a rare thing to achieve. You have to have everything go right and nothing go wrong. That's hard to pull off with all the variables that go into adventures and life in general. But that's exactly what we just experienced this past weekend on our annual Swamp Thing Backpacking Trip in the Everglades! The PERFECT Swamp Thing! God blessed us immensely =)
Perfect weather, perfect conditions, ahead of schedule, the entire group was like an instant family, no mechanical breakdowns, no flat tires, plenty of time to relax & enjoy, nonstop encouraging & positive attitudes, no serious injuries, great equipment, no mistakes, no mishaps, no flaws, focused on Christ, freedom in Christ, fun, fellowship, walking in faith through potentially dangerous environment, clear blue skies, clear skies at night with bright stars, and so many other little things. It was the perfect trip!
