DEAF ADVENTURE CAMP FINISHES STRONG!

Great group. Great volunteers. Great adventures. Great weather. Great food. Great new friendships. Great memories. This has been one of the best adventure trips ever run for the Family Center on Deafness over the past 14 years! They loved every minute of it, and I was blessed with a strong team of volunteers. We are already looking forward to 2018. Today we had to say goodbye to this wonderful group. But we don't have time to relax because our 22nd Annual SLAMMED Adventure Trip stays tomorrow! Clean up, grocery shopping, and our regular trip prep is underway! Thank you for your love, prayers, & support!

ROCK CLIMBING, RAPPELLING, & SLIDING ROCK!

Wow, what a day!! The students from The Family Center on Deafness relished the entire day of adventure! It was full of slip'n slides, rock climbing, rappelling, and - of course - Sliding Rock. Our journey together has been non stop fun! These kids are loving every minute of this trip. Thank you for your prayers for safety and impact! We couldn't do it without you =)

ANNUAL DEAF TRIP RESOUNDINGLY GREAT!!

We are a couple days into our 14th annual Adventure Trip with the students from the Family Center on Deafness and everything is going great!! They are having so much fun!! Today we spent the day hiking, sliding over Turtleback Falls, and cliff jumping next to Rainbow Falls. It was such a blast! Much more fun ahead... stay tuned!

There's a plane out there somewhere! After an amazing week of adventures we got a couple of cheap flights back home so we can be back in time for our family reunion. Then it's right back up here for some more Adventure Trips =)

RAFTING DAY!

The middle school youth group from Calvary Chapel of St Petersburg arrived safe and sound to camp yesterday... and have been non-stop ever since. Today they are rafting the white water of the Ocoee River in TN. They're having a blast!

North GA Bound!

It's 24 hours later than we wanted to leave, but we are north Georgia bound. Our first Adventure Trip of the summer kicks off tomorrow night outside of Toccoa,  GA with the middle school youth group from Calvary Chapel of St Petersburg. It's our 14th year of working with this awesome group lead by Josh Harris. Can't wait to build another memory with them in God's amazing creation! =)
