If 1 picture is worth a thousand words then get ready for 30,000 words of awesomeness!
Our weekend leadership camping retreat with Elevate Youth Group from Calvary Church of Clearwater couldn't have gone better! This group is fun, outgoing, very respectful, so appreciative, and extremely helpful.
They helped with every aspect of camp from setting up tents & cots, to helping prepare meals, to cleaning dishes, to starting fires, and several other tasks that are all part of camp life.
Pastor Justin, Carie and their adult leadership team did an outstanding job of leading, teaching, and pouring into their students throughout the weekend. They had several devotional times, group leadership meetings, breakout sessions, and discussions as they strive to continually excel as a youth group.
Throughout the weekend we shoved all kinds of exciting adventures into our 48 hours together. Climbing wall, high ropes course, zipline, ninja warrior course, low ropes course, team building, swimming, canoeing, camp games, fellowship, campfires, outdoor movie, and smores were all part of an amazing weekend!!
GTD, Laurie, and I are honored to be a part of Elevate's annual plans. We love working with them and pray that each event bears much fruit for the glory of God!
