Did you know that the total elevation gains of hiking the entire 2180 miles of the Appalachian Trail is equivalent to climbing Mt Everest 16 TIMES!!! There is approximately 515,000 feet of elevation inclines & declines along the AT making it one of the toughest trails in the world. AT hikers refer to these constant gains & losses as "pointless ups & downs". So proud of the Landry Academy crew for attacking the AT uphills last week as we completed 1/100th of the entire trail. Praising God for all the protection and answered prayers during our trip!!
