  • SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: There are no one-person rooms. Unless married, rooms & large beds are shared by same gender participants.

  • Meals are not included with the price of your trip. Our source of meals will come from a combination of restaurant meals, cabin cooked meals, and backpacker/picnic style meals. The cabin has a fully functional kitchen with a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster & coffee maker. After arriving at the cabin we will go to the grocery store in Williams to purchase our groceries (& backpack meals if applicable) for the week. We will eat as a group whenever possible. There are approximately 7 restaurant meals and 7 cabin meals (and 1-3 backpacker meals if hiking).

  • Full time guides, event planning, bedding & pillows, rental vans, fuel, accommodations (cabin & hotel), Grand Canyon National Park entrance fees, day hiking at the Grand Canyon (optional), multiple overlooks, multiple points of interest, tours of Sedona & Williams, God-awesome experience, devotions, spiritual emphasis, a lifelong memory!

  • OPTIONAL DAY HIKES INTO THE CANYON (1-12 miles round trip) (This is an OPTIONAL hike on Bright Angel Trail that leads down into the Grand Canyon to Plateau Point for a closer view of the Colorado River. Although the complete hike is 12 miles long - 6 miles each way - hikers can do as few miles as they desire and return back to the starting point or relax in the canyon. All hikes into the GC are steep & strenuous)

  OPTIONAL UPGRADED ADVENTURES:  
  • TRIP 1: RIM-TO-RIM MARATHON ONE DAY MEGA HIKE (25 miles) (OPTIONAL) (Add $150) (This is an OPTIONAL once-in-a-lifetime hike from the North Rim to the South Rim. It's very hard and very challenging... 15 miles downhill & 10 miles uphill! Training is required. For those signing up to do this hike you will have to complete a series of training hikes including a 20 mile one day hike at the location of your choice. This hike will cost an additional $150 to cover shuttle services and lodging at the North Rim. All hikes into the GC are steep & strenuous. Some backpacking gear is available through GTD.) 
  • TRIP 2: BACKPACKING & OVERNIGHT CAMPING TRIP INTO THE GRAND CANYON (20 miles) (OPTIONAL) (Add $150) (This is an OPTIONAL once-in-a-lifetime experience backpacking 10 miles to the amazing Havasu Falls within the Grand Canyon. We will set-up camp next to the beautiful turquiose river flowing from the falls. It's a moderately challenging hike... 2 miles downhill & 8 miles of mostly flat terrain to Havasu Falls the first day and then 8 miles of relatively flat terrain & 2 miles of uphill hiking on the next day. Training is required. For those signing up to do this hike you will have to complete a series of training hikes including a 12 mile one day hike at the location of your choice. This hike will cost an additional $150 to cover Indian Reservation fees, access fees, and camping fees. All hikes into the GC are steep & strenuous. Some backpacking gear is available through GTD.)

- TRIP SUMMARY -
This is a trip like no other!



THIS IS A 6-DAY VACATION-STYLE CHRIST-CENTERED TRIP WITH AN EMPHASIS ON CREATION TEACHING BY DR AARON WALP. THIS IS A VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT FOR PEOPLE OF ALL (OR NO) FITNESS LEVELS.

WE DO OFFER OPTIONAL (NON-MANDATORY) ADVENTURES INCLUDING HIKES INTO THE GRAND CANYON FOR THOSE WHO DESIRE SOME ADDED PHYSICAL EXERTION.

This God-Awesome Adventure can be enhanced with your own personal goal setting to attempt something outside your usual routine. For some this may be a quarter mile hike into the Grand Canyon and for others this may be the once-in-a-lifetime hike to Havasu Falls or a hike from the North to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Again, these hikes are optional and cost extra. Long distance hiking is not required in order to be a part of this trip.

- The Grand Canyon of the Colorado River is the largest gorge in the world - a 290-mile-long gash across the face of the Colorado Plateau in northern Arizona. Rim to rim, it measures up to 18 miles across, with an average width of 10 miles; its average depth is one mile. Within this Delaware-size area of eroded rock rise mountains higher than any in the eastern United States... the Colorado River drops 2,200 feet over nearly 200 rapids as it roars through the Canyon toward the Gulf of California. Numbers, though, tell only part of the canyon's story and merely hint at the magic of its myriad hues, strata, spires, and gorges. The place is more than the sum of its parts - so much more that neither the eye nor the mind of the beholder can encompass more than a small part of it at one time.
