    • BREAKFAST: Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs w/ Biscuits & Gravy, Cereal, Fruit & Bagels
    • LUNCH: Pizza Quesadillas!!, Sandwiches & Chips, Hamburgers

    • Unfortunately the list is long of people with different food allergies along with a variety of severities (ranging from mild to life-threatening) to those allergies. There is also a long list of food needs such as gluten free, dairy free, vegetarians, etc. It isn't possible for us to accommodate all of the different needs and various severities. Therefore our food policy has changed. We are no longer able to accommodate any special dietary needs. If you have special dietary needs you will need to bring the appropriate types and quantities of meals for this event including coolers if needed. We usually have some extra space in our coolers that you can use (unless cross contamination is a concern) if still available when you arrive. In addition, you are welcome to use our gas griddle, gas stove, pots, pans, & cooking utensils when not in use to aid in your meal preparations. We just ask that you coordinate this with the camp cooks and help clean up anything you use afterwards.
If you ask for a "plain" pancake... this may be what you get LOL!

    • GTD Waiver [PRINT ONLY] (Any participant under 18 must also have parent/ guardian sign each waiver)
      EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBERS:
    • GTD: 727-692-5296 (GTD cell phone - Doug Garner)
      MAIN ACTIVITIES:

    • CAMPFIRES & S'MORES! One of the best parts about camping is the campfire! Every night we will gather around the campfire to fellowship, roast marshmallows, make smores, share "Highlights of the Day", tell funny stories, share about what God is teaching us, sing praise and worship songs, and to participate in our nightly Biblical spiritual challenge we call Impact Point. (*NOTE* PLEASE BRING FIREWOOD IF YOU HAVE SOME EXTRA AT HOME)

    • LAKE LIFE = PRIVATE BEACH! One of our main features of this wonderful campground is our own private beach along the shore of the beautiful 71 acre spring-fed Doe Lake!

    • LAKE LIFE = WATER ACTIVITIES! From squishy ball wars to king/queen of the platform to fishing... you have all kinds of water activity options!

    • LAKE LIFE = PADDLEBOARDING & KAYAKING! With 20+ Stand-Up Paddleboards & 15+ Kayaks GTD will set you and your crew up with plenty of paddling opportunities! Whether you use your SUP or YAK for exercise, recreation, yoga, fishing, spending time with God, or just relaxing on top of the water we've got you covered! This is a great opportunity to take your crew on a 71 acre paddling adventure tour of Doe Lake!

    • LAKE LIFE = A PERFECT ENDING SPOT TO GTD'S 100 FT SLIP'N SLIDE! You've got to come slide on GTD's 100' Giganti-Slide with the perfect ending as you slide into Doe Lake!

    • INFLATABLES FOR KIDS & TEAM SPORTS FOR EVERYONE! Team sports are always a good time, but they are especially fun at camp! There will be options for ultimate, volleyball, kickball, soccer, Blitzball, and more. And we haven't forgotten about the little ones... in fact, they get their own inflatable bounce house and inflatable slide! It's going to be so much fun for all ages!

    • GROUP GAMES & CAMP GAMES! GTD has all kinds of games to make your weekend full of fun! Games include Cornhole, Spikeball, Kan Jam, Ramp Shot, Giant Jenga, Bocce, Giant Beachball, Board Games, Cards, and all the ingredients to invent your own game!

    • HAMMOCK TIME! We think hammocks are one of the top 5 inventions of all time! There may be nothing more relaxing than laying in a hammock near a beautiful lake... it just seems to instantly relieve all the stresses of life. We put a huge emphasis on fun and activities, but we also believe rest is just as an important ingredient to a complete retreat - especially for parents!

    • OUTDOOR MOVIE NITE! We will top off Saturday night by sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows and making smores while watching an Outdoor Movie on "the big screen"! GTD owns over one hundred Hollywood blockbuster movies that have been professionally edited to make them family friendly

    • DAILY DEVOS! More than anything, God uses camp ministries to impact souls! Don't underestimate how much God can do in your life when you break away from daily distractions and the unrelenting pressures of life and take some time to immerse yourself in His creation while reading His Word. That's a recipe that will refresh your body, renew your mind, resuscitate your heart, and revive your soul! Each morning we will participate in doing daily devotions.

      LARGE HISTORIC DINING HALL:

    • DINING HALL: Doe Lake is a hidden gem nestled in the southwest corner of the Ocala National Forest. The Doe Lake Group Campground is home to a historically restored 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps dining hall set atop a grassy hill overlooking the clear waters of the lake. Meals, hanging out, card games, and board games are just a few uses of this wonderful facility. (Overnight sleeping is prohibited in this building)

      RESTROOMS & SHOWERS:

    • RESTROOMS & SHOWERS: Included with this campground are modern restroom facilities with flush toilets, running water, electricity, and warm showers. Just one more reason you will love Doe Lake Group Campground =)

    - ABOUT OUR BASE CAMP -
More than just randomly placed tents!

For TEAM GTD assembling a Base Camp is more than just randomly setting up a few tents, chairs and a mess hall. We want to create an environment that you love. We want to create a Base Camp that is inviting & fun. We want your first impression of your Base Camp to be, "Wow! Sweet! I love hammocks! Who wants to play volleyball! You've got cots, cool! This place is awesome!" Those kind of responses are the kind of responses we get when we set up a Base Camp The GTD Way. The GTD Way is deliberate, creative, functional and fun. At TEAM GTD, our objective is to create a temporary playground that promotes spiritual growth, recreation, community, sound sleep, physical renewal, outdoor dining, fun times, adequate hygiene and warmth while preserving a feel of being in God's amazing creation (which reveals the evidence of God). We hope you love it as much as we do!

(some equipment pictured above may not apply to this event)

    - TRIP SUMMARY -
    Here's the gist!

GTD's FALL RETREAT is an exciting outdoor adventure located on a secluded group campsite in central Florida.

Every fire must first start with a spark and our hope is that GTD's FALL RETREAT will be that spark in your rekindled passion to follow Christ. Like a match being struck, this event has the potential to inflame your heart with a renewed passion in your walk with God and fire you up in your daily devotions!

Each day we will engage in a whole lot of fun & adventurous activities as we enjoy the majesty of God's amazing playground - His creation. And if that wasn't enough, we will also explore the consuming fire of God's presence through daily devotions, worship, and nightly Impact Points around the camp fire.

Our prayer is that in our time together you will grow closer to God, make new lifelong friends, and build new unforgettable memories!
