ABOUT OUR SELECT-A-PRICE
GTD's "Select-A-Price" allows you to pick the price you want to pay for this public event. We offer a special sale price on many of our Public Events that are actually less than it costs to run the event per person. We do this to help make events very affordable or free, but some participants desire to pay the full price (or something more than the sale price) so we give you that option too. No matter what price you select we strive to give everyone a priceless God-awesome unforgettable adventure! We hope our Select-A-Price option is a blessing to you!
*Note: PayPal's "Add to Cart" feature below allows you to add multiple items to your Shopping Cart before paying. Simply alternate from the GTD tab to PayPal tab in your internet browser to add more items to your cart.

SECOND EVER CRAMMED ADVENTURE TRIP
CRAMMED is the exact same Adventure Trip as SLAMMED, but on a different date. CRAMMED was created as a 2nd trip & date option when SLAMMED was SOLD OUT last year. All the pricing and activities remain the same. The only things that are different is that CRAMMED has a different name (to minimize confusion) and a different date. Everything else is the same as SLAMMED!
Over the course of 5 days GTD slams you with several heart-pounding adrenaline-pumping adventures that will exhilarate you to the core! In our time together we will travel to Chattahoochee National Forests in northeastern Georgia to do activities such as camping, rock climbing, rappelling, whitewater rafting, hiking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and waterfall sliding. Now you see why we call it SLAMMED!
We will set up our base camp in an amazingly beautiful national forest and visit nearby waterfalls!!! We will chase after all of these adventures as we explore the majesty of God's creation. And that's not even the best part, we will also explore the majesty of God's presence through daily devotions, praise & worship, and nightly challenges from the Bible as we hang out around the camp fire.
CRAMMED will challenge you and potentially change your life as you grow closer to God, make new friends, encounter & overcome fears, and engage in some of the most outrageous adventures of your life! Instead of getting so busy that you feel jammed, take 5 days to jump start your life by getting CRAMMED!

WHITE WATER RAFTING
Chattooga River - Section 4
("The Beast of The Southeast!")
Here's what Southeastern Expedition has to say about rafting Section 4 of the Chattooga River:
"If you’re ready to “graduate” to the more advanced GA white water rafting experience, the seven-hour excursion down Section IV is the ultimate Chattooga River white water rafting experience for anyone age 12 or older! ...These are the most intense rapids east of the Mississippi. That means if you’re not near the Mississippi or the Colorado rivers, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better ride than what we offer you at Southeastern... The climax of the trip is towards the end as the rafts plunge down the notorious Five Falls and Soc-em-Dog. This trip is built for adventurers and thrill seekers. It’s a 7 hour trip and you’ll get to paddle it all. You just need to be 12 years old or older."

TOP ROPE ROCK CLIMBING: Top-rope climbing is all about having fun and being as safe as possible. Top-roping is the safest form of climbing. It offers the rock climbing experience with all the rewards but minimal risks by allowing you to climb a rock face with the safety rope always anchored above you minimizing your falling distance to only inches or a few feet.
RAPPELLING: Rappelling is a controlled descent down a rock face using a rope and friction device for controlling the speed of the slide. While rock climbing is all about getting to the top, rappelling is all about getting down safely. While rock climbing supplies the climber with a since of satisfaction, rappelling is all about adrenaline & excitement.

While rock climbing is all about getting to the top, rappelling is all about getting down safely. While rock climbing supplies the climber with a since of satisfaction, rappelling is all about adrenaline & excitement.
WATERFALL SLIDE: This will be one of the most exciting adventures of the trip as we hike down into a gorge to a nearby natural waterfall slide. We will spend several hours taking turns sliding down an amazing waterfall, swimming in the cool water, and laying back drying out on warm rocks! It's an unforgettable day of God-awesome fun!
THE HIKE TO SLIDING ROCK IS A STRENUOUS ADVENTURE IN ITSELF...
- BASE CAMP -
| |||||
What can I expect the campsite to be like?
|
For TEAM GTD, assembling a Base Camp is more than just randomly setting up a few tents, chairs and a mess hall. We want to create an environment that you love. We want to create a Base Camp that is inviting & fun. We want your first impression of your Base Camp to be, "Wow! Sweet! I love hammocks! Who wants to play volleyball! You've got cots, cool! This place is awesome!" Those kind of responses are the kind of responses we get when we set up a Base Camp The GTD Way. The GTD Way is deliberate, creative, functional and fun. Our objective is to create a temporary playground that promotes spiritual growth, recreation, community, sound sleep, physical renewal, outdoor dining, fun times, adequate hygiene and warmth while preserving a feel of being in God's amazing creation (which reveals the evidence of God). We hope you love it as much as we do!
