A Note From Tiffany

Hola amigos!! It’s Tiffany here, I hope everyone is doingwell. Today was our first full day with the Harvest team! We got up bright andearly, had a delicious breakfast and spread out across the property to do ourdevotions on Psalm 119:105-112. It is always so refreshing to have alone timewith God, especially in Costa Rica! The teams split up for the day, 30 peoplewent white water rafting and 10 of us went horseback riding around thebeautiful Miravalles Volcano! Most of the interns, including myself, got to gohorseback riding up a scenic trail and hiking up to a few waterfalls! It wasabsolutely gorgeous despite the wobbly suspension bridges. :) We also got thechance to go to a crater where we saw steam and bubbling volcanic mud sinceit’s still active.  The whole groupmet back up and we went to a very touching church service. The woman who ledthe service spoke Spanish, and most of the songs that were sung, were inSpanish but even though I hardly understood what she was saying, I knew she waslifting up our God that we both serve. Once the group recognized a few of thesongs, we starting singing in English what they were singing in Spanish and itwas the most moving moment for me so far. I got chills everywhere! The way theyworship is so different than back home. They raise their hands high, worship ontheir knees, hold each others hands and put their arms around one another. It’svery touching to see and be apart of. After the service, we ate Chopsuy and thepastor of the church came to welcome everyone to Costa Rica! I’d say today waspretty fantastic. I’m excited for the rest of the week, these people areawesome and relationships are building so quick! God is awesome!  Pura Vida!

*Ps. Shout out to mom and dad, Love you guys! Miss ya!*
